With this blog I wanted to build a homebase for the great aim of hauling Patrick Costello to Kiel. We did it. In Oct 2007 he was here. We had a great time.
From now on this is a north-german banjo-blog trying to hold the community together.

Hotel
Alan found the perfect hotel for the Dublin Jam.

Wie alles begann, findet Ihr hier Dieser Blog richtet sich an alle Freunde von Bluegrass, Old-Time-Banjo und Folkmusic, speziell aber solche aus dem größeren Umkreis von Kiel. Wir wollen uns zum Jammen treffen. Schreibt mir, wenn Ihr Interesse habt. Regional (hoffentlich) interessierende posts schreibe ich auf deutsch, andere auf englisch.
Wiederkehrende Termine
Die Folk Session in Kiel ist eine regelmäßige Einrichtung geworden, immer am 2. Montag im Monat ab 20:30 h im Statt-Café.
An jedem ersten Freitag im Monat Bluegrass Session im "Live" in HH, Fruchtallee.
Das letzte Kiel Jamin der Tradition des Flying Circus of European Frailers fand statt vom 26. - 28.10.2012 in Kiel-Friedrichsort. Das nächste Newcastle Jam ist in Vorbereitung.
